I've experienced my first ever staycation at One Pacific Place Serviced Residences so it's definitely a very unforgettable experience for me. I have always been curious about staycations and if it really works effectively as a stress-reliever.
I usually go out of town or out of the country when I need a breather but since my budget is a little tight, I just needed to getaway from home without having to spend so much. Good thing I found One Pacific Place through Agoda when I was browsing for affordable hotels in Makati and I stumbled across their page. I checked their website and found out that booking straight through their website is cheaper.
I booked their One Bedroom Premiere Suite just for P3,600 for an overnight stay. Booking in a 5 star hotel with this amount will just give you a typical deluxe room, so instead of that I just booked to a cheaper hotel and splurged on their big rooms.
Booking and checking-in was smooth. The receiving area was the first thing I saw as I enter the room. Lakas makasosyal!
Donya ang feeling ko!
The receiving area has the following:
32 inches LCD TV with DVD Player
2 Seater Sofa with Ottoman
Side Table with Telephone
Air-Conditioner
It's really spacious. I can't believe this humongous space is only priced at P3,600 at night which is usually priced at P5,000 up on high-end hotels. Not bad considering the rate comes with buffet breakfast already! I mean they don't have other special amenities in the hotel like a Casino or Spa and so forth but I just wanted to stay in bed all day anyway, I just wanted to be at peace and be alone so this is not bad at all!
The DINING & KITCHEN AREA area comes with:
Dining table for 2, Plates
Glasswares, Placemats, Cutleries, Cooking utensils and Tools
Pot & Pans
Rice Cooker
Microwave Oven
Electric Stove and a Refrigerator
The kitchen amenities is so complete that if I only had extra time to go to the grocery store I would have cooked our dinner instead of eating out. Lakas maka-Tita, Feeling Tita na ako gusto ko magluto. I was really willing to but didn't want to bother washing the dishes anymore so I/we just ate out.
THE ROOM
My favorite part of the room is the Queen Size bed. It also has two windows with a view facing Makati Ave Skyline. Good thing deluxe rooms are located on the higher floors of the building cause it's just so calming to look outside and glance at the beautiful view.
Love how the hotel necessities are complete. The room comes with bathrobes, room slippers, iron and ironing board, coffee and tea maker, mini refrigerator, Mini LCD TV with Remote, Air-condition with temp control. It's so complete!
BATHROOM
The bathroom is pretty neat. It comes with a tub which is a BIG CHECK for me cause I wanted a good bath. I've been dreaming of soaking myself in warm water and just relax. It also came with the bathroom essentials plus a blowdryer.
The view at night is just spectacular. I really love short stay-cations like this for much needed break!
Had my dinner at burgos during the night and roamed around Century Mall right after. It's so easy to walk and commute around the area plus there are a lot of establishments nearby!
Other Facilities of the hotel:
*Indoor Pool/ Rooftop Pool
*Top Level Gym
*Bayleaf Restaurant & Gym
*Annex Bar
VERDICT: 4/5
*The in-room wifi doesn't work at all.
*Hallways are well lit but obviously old
*The bathroom has no bidet! 🙁
*Nothing to do at night on nearby areas
